We are excited to share that our guesthouse is open and we are are looking forward to welcoming you once again. As we collectively respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, No. 284 continues to ensure that guest and employee health and safety remains our top priority. We ask that all visitors to our guesthouse abide by the Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Orders.  For those seeking a COVID-19 test, our nearest testing site is Tufts Medical Center

To ensure the wellbeing of our patrons and maintain our luxury experience, our courtyard and library will be accessible, and we have a well-appointed non-alcoholic mini-fridge and in room continental breakfast with contactless delivery. Social distancing will be practiced throughout the guest house and the associated personal protective items and sanitizers will be provided throughout your stay.

We have proudly retained our entire staff during our brief closing, and we look forward to welcoming guests back into the guest house. We have built upon our previous rigorous cleaning and safety programs with enhanced procedures and practices to ensure a healthy environment for all. We continue to closely monitor the situation and will take every precaution and adjust our procedures based on the guidance of the CDC and local health and safety authorities.

Enhanced Cleanliness

  • At No. 284 we are focused on implementing enhancements to already stringent operating procedures.
  • Rooms which are in use are cleaned and disinfected daily with EPA approved products by trained room attendants.
  • Our Housekeeping team has been rigorously trained on the cleaning protocols that are being implemented
  • Public areas are cleaned hourly with extra attention to highly frequented areas including front desk counters, elevators, and staircases

Heightened Guest Safety and Comfort

  • Upon entering No. 284, we kindly ask all guests to wear a mask as per the direction of CDC and local health and safety authorities. There will be complimentary masks for guest use in the vestibule
  • We are providing each guest room with masks, hand sanitizer and sanitization wipes, with additional masks supplied as needed
  • All elevator landings and other areas are equipment with hand sanitizer stations for added protection and comfort
  • Social distancing measures are embedded in all services for guest and employee protection
  • Our Library Lounge and Courtyard is open for our guest, but we will stock as well your in-room fridge with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages
  • We are providing a modified Continental Breakfast In-Room Dining experience offering contactless delivery outside your guestroom along with single-use packaging.
